MPs need to know why we must End the Cage Age for mother pigs

Right now, we have a crucial opportunity to help secure a cage-free future for mother pigs.

The UK Government has committed to launching a consultation on the future of these cruel farrowing crates. There is a chance that, instead of cages being banned altogether, they could move to simply shorten the time mother pigs are locked in these narrow cages, to up to 10 days each time they give birth.

Any time spent in such tight confinement is unacceptable.

That's why we're inviting MPs to a special Parliamentary Drop-in event, where they can see for themselves what life inside a farrowing crate is really like and learn why we must End the Cage Age. Please take a moment to invite your MP now.

End the Cage Age for mother pigs

Let mother pigs be mothers.

Mother pigs deserve the freedom to move, nest, and care for their piglets more naturally. Most indoor sows in the UK still give birth inside restrictive farrowing crates. Invite your MP to our special Parliamentary Drop-in event, where they can see for themselves what life inside these cruel cages is really like.
