Urge the UK Government to end cruel cages

The Animal Welfare Strategy has been published, and it includes proposals to End the Cage Age for hens and mother pigs in the UK! Improving slaughter methods for fish and pigs were also included in the strategy.

This is the next step towards the Government banning cruel and outdated practices, such as cramming hens into cages and confining mother pigs in narrow crates.
