Call on Britain's town centres to go cage-free

Since Compassion supporters started spreading the word about cage cruelty in our town centres, Frankie & Bennie's, Caffè Nero and Pizza Express have publicised their commitments to go completely cage-free on eggs. And EAT. and Starbucks have now publicly confirmed that all of their eggs – whole eggs and ingredients – are from cage-free hens.

But still many well-known companies have failed to pledge to end the use of eggs from caged hens.

Will you now take a moment to email some high street brands? Urge them to make a clear public commitment to End the Cage Age for all hens in their supply chain – for whole eggs and ingredients.

We believe that some companies have now started to block the emails being sent to them. But it is still important that you continue to email the companies you are a customer of. Whether they have blocked the emails or not, we will make sure the message gets through to them.
