Ask your MP to help keep cows in fields

Cows belong in fields

With the withdrawal of Nocton Dairies’ plans for a huge, US-style intensive dairy in Lincolnshire, the UK narrowly avoided the very real threat of a new wave of factory farming.

But every new proposal increases the risk to traditional dairy farming. We cannot let even one of these ‘US-style mega-dairies’ into our country – once we let one in there will be no going back.

A united front

Compassion supporters have asked their MPs to sign an Early Day Motion on this crucial issue.

The EDM has already been signed by over 150 MPs but we need you to take action now to get more MPs behind our campaign to protect animals, traditional dairy farmers and our countryside from the spread of mega-dairies.

We believe that many politicians are opposed to the idea of mega-dairies. By signing EDM 942, MPs from all parties can show a united front against this development and against factory farming in the UK.

Your help is crucial

We are aiming high and we need your help. We want 200 signatures from MPs for EDM 942 – a definitive demonstration of the extent of parliamentary support for keeping cows in fields and for strengthening existing legislation to ensure the highest welfare for our cows.

Help us to achieve our goal by encouraging your MP to sign and take a stand against factory farming.
